The talented Sage Steele recalls being in D.C. during IU’s loss to Maryland in the 2002 National Championship, her favorite memories in Bloomington, and if Bob Knight will ever return to Assembly Hall. “I actually think that if there were a time, this is it…honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if it happened this weekend. I’ve heard there’s some talk and some rumors that maybe this is it, because he knows his health isn’t great. So I’ve actually considered booking a plane ticket just in case and bring my daughter who I’m trying to convince to go to Indiana…it’s Indiana basketball, I want her to experience that, and if there’s a possibility it’s worth the flight to Bloomington, right?”.
