Mike Wells of ESPN.com joins The Ride with JMV to discuss game six of the NBA finals. Wells gives his take on the final play ran by the Warriors. Mike Wells also discusses whether or not it would be smart for Jimmy Butler to go to the Pacers. Wells also touches on the fact that the San Antonio Spurs like Bojan Bogdanovich and discusses whether or not the Spurs would do a sign and trade for Demar Derozan.

“What do you think about Jimmy Butler?”

“If I’m Jimmy Butler I want a team who is in position to make a run and try to get to the NBA finals. Even with Victor Oladipo and adding Jimmy Butler the Pacers aren’t in that position. Unless Victor Oladipo is superman you can’t expect him to be the same player he was prior to the injury right away. If I’m Butler, more so the Pacers might be interested in me but I’m going to a team that can push the Raptors or whoever is going to be the next top dog in the western conference.”

“San Antonio likes Bojan, and maybe Bojan likes San Antonio. Thoughts on a surface level?”

“Bojan has had a solid career with the Pacers, but saying he’s better than Demar Derozan I don’t know about that. If I’m the Pacers I would look very hard at that because you need scoring. Even when Victor Oladipo gets back to his old self they need scoring.”
