On the back of an incredible defensive performance, the Indianapolis Colts pulled off an upset victory over the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 on Sunday.

The win gets a season that had major question marks the first two weeks back on track and puts the Colts back in the division race in the process.

As a whole, the game wasn’t pretty. But a win, is a win, is a win, is a win. And, regardless of Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones keeping the Colts drive alive with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, Matt Ryan and the Colts put together their most impressive offensive drive of the season that proved to be a game winner.

Plus, rookie tight end Jelani Woods had his breakout performance of the season including catching the game winning touchdown.

Now the Colts turn their attention to an epic showdown against their rivals the Tennessee Titans.

Both these teams were favorites to win the AFC South and they currently find themselves looking up at the first place Jacksonville Jaguars.

So can they Colts build off of this win and string off consecutive victories for the first time this last season?

For the answer to that and more The Dan Dakich Show turned to one of our favorites in Sean Salisbury. Sean spoke on the Colts upset win over the Chiefs and what impressed him the most in the victory.

Sean also discussed:

  • the defensive game plan the Colts brought against Kansas City
  • the poise of Matt Ryan in the game winning drive
  • where the Colts stand in the AFC South race
  • if the Jaguars are for real
