The Colts just can’t have nice things. It’s brutal.

Carson Wentz back to full 11 on 11 practice! But Quenton Nelson is out with a back problem.

Eric Fisher is practicing at a limited capacity! But Xavier Rhodes has a calf issue and Frank Reich said it’s TBD on him playing Sunday.

It’s just silly.

The Colts problems come into one door, out the other, then back inside. The level of unluckiness is at a level where just when you feel positive vibes coming, it dips in a totally different direction.

Eventually things have to go our way right? Who knows.

What we do know right now though is if Rhodes can’t play against the Seattle Seahawks, it’s big time trouble at Lucas Oil Stadium.

No Rhodes means it may be Rock Ya-Sin’s responsibility to keep DK Metcalf in check.

Welp.

Along with Dan Dakich and Jimmy Cook Wednesday afternoon, we agreed that it could be a classic shootout between Carson Wentz and Russell Wilson on Sunday.

If the Colts are down in the defensive back department, I don’t want to be Matt Eberflus trying to find a way to stop a perennial MVP candidate from becoming a human stat sheet in Week 1.
