JMV is joined by Goga Bitadze and they discuss being drafted 18th by the Pacers. He talks about knowing if he would be drafted by the Pacers, on how he believes he can help the team, the pace of the NBA, his focuses for the summer, and more.
On how he believes he can help the team:
“First, I will put a lot of work in. 100{42836eb61b4ca4ddd9ec45ae386c9311b687b2127b5746fc216d4c5f0c3c98e3} every practice, I will put work in. Whatever coach tells me and asks of me, I will just go out there and try to do. I think I can help the team on both ends of the floor. I can bring a lot of energy, positive energy, play tough, be able to protect the rim, and after that whatever coach asks of me I will try to go out there and do it and try to go out there and compete.”
On his focuses for the summer:
“(Strength) Is one of my main goals this summer. I am going to start working on my body as soon as I can, trying to be as strong as I can for when we start summer league and then the NBA season I will just go 100{42836eb61b4ca4ddd9ec45ae386c9311b687b2127b5746fc216d4c5f0c3c98e3} trying to get a lot stronger.”
