Indiana Fever v Minnesota Lynx

It’s been a month since the Indiana Fever have last played a regular season game. They closed the “first half” of the season 11-15 after starting the season 1-8.

Christie Sides was able to rally the troops after a slow start and turn things around with a 7-4 record in the month of June. The team started getting longer breaks between games to practice and didn’t have to face some of the top teams in the WNBA.

Indiana is currently tied with the Chicago Sky for the seventh seed in the WNBA standings. Indiana has the advantage because of their percentage. They trail the Phoenix Mercury for the sixth seed by 1.5 games. Here is their schedule for the final sixteen games of the season:

  • Friday, August 16th vs Phoenix Mercury – 7:30pm (ION)
  • Sunday, August 18th vs Seattle Storm – 3:30pm (ABC)
  • Saturday, August 24th at Minnesota Lynx – 8:00pm (NBA TV)
  • Monday, August 26th at Atlanta Dream – 7:30pm (NBA TV)
  • Wednesday, August 28th vs Connecticut Sun – 7:00pm (NBA TV)
  • Friday, August 30th at Chicago Sky – 7:30pm (ION)
  • Sunday, September 1st at Dallas Wings – 4:00pm (NBA TV)
  • Wednesday, September 4th vs Los Angeles Sparks – 7:00pm (CBSSN)
  • Friday, September 6th vs Minnesota Lynx – 7:30pm (ION)
  • Sunday, September 8th vs Atlanta Dream – 4:00pm (ESPN3)
  • Wednesday, September 11th vs Las Vegas Aces – 7:00pm (NBA TV)
  • Friday, September 13th vs Las Vegas Aces – 7:30pm (ION)
  • Sunday, September 15th vs Dallas Wings – 3:00pm (NBA TV)
  • Thursday, September 19th at Washington Mystics – 7:00pm (Prime Video)

Of those remaining sixteen games, nine of those are home, and seven of those games are against teams below average. There is a strong chance that the Fever will be playing in the postseason for the first time since 2016.
