Colts Samson Ebukam Out For Season

Indianapolis Colts’ defensive end, Samson Ebukam, who led the team with 9.5 sacks last season, has been dealt a significant blow with a torn Achilles injury that will sideline him for the entire 2024 season. This unfortunate news was confirmed by various sources including ESPN, NFL Network, and The Athletic.

Samson Ebukam’s presence on the field was instrumental in the Colts’ defensive line strategy last season which was his first with the team. His ability to pressure quarterbacks and disrupt plays made him a key player in the Colts’ defense.

With his season-ending injury, the Colts face the challenge of filling the void left by Ebukam’s absence. Although they have a packed room to do so.

While Ebukam’s absence poses a significant setback, it also opens up opportunities for emerging talents within the Colts’ ranks even more like Laiatu Latu who was just drafted by the Colts in April.

The Colts will return to training camp tomorrow.
