Kevin Bowen stops by the show to preview the Colts upcoming OTA schedule. With a loaded roster and a full healthy Andrew Luck, few teams have higher hopes for this season than the Colts. Kevin discusses his favorite part of OTA’s, what to expect from Parris Campbell, and gives his take on the improved defensive line.
On what to look for at Colts OTA’s:
“One of my favorite parts of OTA’s is seeing rookies and veterans on the field. Pertaining to 2019, the question is what does this defense evolve to? We’ve heard all this talk about different personnel, different schematic stuff that could be run on that side of the ball. So I’m curious to see of that in the spring.”
On what to expect from Parris Campbell:
“You want to see the full route tree or at least steps in that direction. Obviously you’re not going to see it this week, you might not even see it this year. But that is the biggest question. Him coming out of Ohio State, he was more of a gadget guy for them. He was that Percy Harvin role when you think back to older Urban Meyer teams. Even if he is just that role for you as a rookie, he can still impact games.”
