Pascal Siakam to Serve as Pace Car Driver for Brickyard 400

INDIANAPOLIS–Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam, a three-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection, has been named honorary Pace Car driver for the Brickyard 400.

Siakam will drive the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV SS to lead the field around the 2.5-mile oval at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The 615-horsepower Blazer EV SS is the most powerful EV in its class and the quickest SS model produced by Chevrolet. Siakam, who started playing organized basketball at 17, was drafted by the Toronto Raptors in 2016 and traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2024.

He received the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals MVP award and the Larry Bird Trophy after the Pacers’ victory over the New York Knicks.
