Tyler Herro works out with Indiana Pacers

With a week to go before the NBA Draft, Kentucky’s Tyler Herro joins DD to talk about his pre-draft workouts with teams including the Indiana Pacers.  He is expecting to be a 1st round draft pick and many people speculate him falling near the Indiana Pacers’ draft pick.  

Going into Kentucky as a freshman, was your plan to be a one and done?

“It kind of happened like that, I came in there with an open mind with Coach Cal and the rest of the staff and just worked hard and it kind of happened that way.”

Can you take fans into the process of deciding to leave school and declare for the NBA Draft?

“Yah I mean I talked to Coach Cal, first off I talked to my dad and he pretty much gave it to me as the decision and then talked Cal and KP you know they gave it to me as far as feedback they received and stuff like that.  So the decision was up to me and hoping to be a top 20 pick was my reason of leaving and hopefully next Thursday that’ll be what happens.
