Remembering Jim Irsay
Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay has passed away at the age of 65.
The announcement was made by the Colts Wednesday evening.
“We are devastated to announce our beloved Owner & CEO, Jim Irsay, passed away peacefully in his sleep this afternoon. Jim’s dedication and passion for the Indianapolis Colts in addition to his generosity, commitment to the community, and most importantly, his love for his family were unsurpassed.”
Hammer and Nigel reflect on the legacy of Irsay, the demons he faced, and his impact on the city of Indianapolis and the Colts franchise.
Joe “Big Joe” Staysniak talked about what Irsay was like as he worked for the Colts for over 30 years, several of those being an offensive lineman for the Colts from 1992-95.
Kevin Bowen, 93.5 / 107.5 The Fan, talked with Hammer and Nigel about his positive experiences with Irsay. He also talks about what happens next as his daughters take over the ownership of the team.
Irsay’s daughters Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson will now run the Indianapolis Colts.
