INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts will travel quite a lot in 2025, with a unique twist to their schedule.

Shane Steichen’s third season at the helm of the Colts sees them facing the AFC West and NFC West, with trips from the west coast to Berlin.

Here is the 2025 regular season schedule for the Colts:

Week 1, vs. Dolphins, September 7th (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-The Colts missed Tua Tagovailoa last season at Lucas Oil Stadium, but are expected to see him to begin 2025. These two teams are facing off again this fall, based off both teams finishing 2nd in their respective divisions. And the Colts are trying to end the horrific Week 1 drought of being winless in such games dating back all the way to 2013.

Week 2, vs. Broncos, September 14th, (Sunday, 4:05 PM)

-It’s consecutive home games to start the year for the Colts, and two of the better opponents salted to come to Indy this season. What a crushing loss that was in Denver this past December. The Broncos and Bo Nix will now come to Lucas Oil Stadium for a rematch.

Week 3, at Titans, September 21st (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-The Colts have had nice recent success playing in Nashville, with former Indy coaching candidate Brian Callahan heading into his second year. The first road trip of 2025 is a manageable one right down I-65.

Week 4, at Rams, September 28th (Sunday, 4:05 PM)

-It’ll be a pair of visits to SoFi Stadium for the 2024 Colts. Matthew Stafford certainly gave the Colts some nightmares in a 2023 game against the Rams.

Week 5, vs. Raiders, October 5th (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-It’s Geno Smith and Pete Carroll now guiding the Raiders. This matchup has been quite frequent in recent years, despite the two teams in separate divisions.

Week 6, vs. Cardinals, October 12th (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-Head coach Jonathan Gannon returns to the place he was an assistant from 2018-20. This will be Kyler Murray’s first ever game in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Week 7, at Chargers, October 19th (Sunday, 4:05 PM)

-It is a trio of west coast trips for the Colts in 2025, with Justin Herbert and Jim Harbaugh on the schedule for the first time. While the Colts would have liked for two of the trips to been back-to-back, they don’t get that, meaning 3 separate trips out west, plus trans antic trip to Berlin.

Week 8: vs. Titans, October 26th (Sunday, 4:25 PM)

-The Titans went with Mason Rudolph in a Week 16 matchup in Indy this past season. Assuming the No. 1 pick Cam Ward is the starter, the Colts will see the rookie from Miami here in late October.

Week 9, at Steelers, November 2nd (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-Based off 2nd place divisional finishes in 2024, the Colts and Steelers will meet for yet another season. It is anyone’s guess as to who Pittsburgh will start at quarterback in 2025.

Week 10, vs. Falcons, November 9th (Sunday, 9:30 AM)

-Michael Penix Jr. will not be returning to the state where his collegiate career began, with this game being the NFL’s first ever in Berlin. Many feel Raheem Morris was the runner-up to Shane Steichen in the Colts 2023 coaching search.

Week 11, Bye

-After a December bye week in 3 of the last 4 years, the Colts will now have a bye in the middle of November, following their international game. This is what the Colts elected to do 2 years ago when they played in Frankfurt, Germany, whereas they chose to play a game following their game in London back in 2016.

Week 12, at Kansas City, November 23rd (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-In returning from their bye week, the Colts will take a trip to Arrowhead for a regular season game for the first time since Indy won there on Sunday Night Football in 2019.

Week 13, vs. Texans, November 30th (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-After 12 weeks, the Colts will finally see the defending AFC South champs. The Texans began the 2024 season with a win in Indianapolis sent quite the message to the Colts hopes of taking the division crown away from Houston.

Week 14, at Jaguars, December 7th (Sunday, 1:00 PM)

-Oh no, the streak must be brought up. The Colts haven’t won in Jacksonville since the 2014 season, with a career-day from Trevor Lawrence continuing that streak last year. To end that they’ll have to do it in a December trip to Florida.

Week 15: at Seahawks, December 14th, (Sunday, 4:25 PM)

-When you look at the 2025 schedule, this is probably the one questionable weather game for late in the season. Shane Steichen and Mike McDonald are close friends, and they will meet in 2025, with the Colts playing in one of the NFL’s louder environments.

Week 16, vs. 49ers, December 22nd (Monday, 8:15 PM)

-Hello, to the lone primetime game of the Colts season. And it’s a home primetime game on Monday Night Football! Wrecked by injuries this past season, the 49ers fall into one of the more disappointing teams of 2024 category. These back-to-back NFC games could have some playoff implications even with both teams in separate conferences.

Week 17, vs. Jaguars, December 28th (Sunday, 1:00PM)

-The Jaguars were bad from the onset in 2024, with questions about Trevor Lawrence as a true franchise quarterback once again alive and well. The Colts will close the season with a pair of divisional games.

Week 18, at Texans, January 3rd or 4th (TBD)

-Even without Nico Collins, the Texans all but ended the Colts divisional hopes in a late October win last year in Houston. After both Texans meetings before Halloween last year, both will come after Thanksgiving this season. This season finale will have what at stake for the Colts, and Texans?
