COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 23 Purdue at Indiana

The month of February has been far from smooth sailing for Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Now losers of four straight games, including Sunday’s shocking upset at the hands of a lame duck coach in Mike Woodson and his wildly inconsistent Indiana Hoosiers, the Boilermakers need to get things figured out quickly with March on the horizon. Purdue doesn’t quite need to worry about not making the tournament, but going into March Madness during a skid is certainly not ideal.

So where do the Boilermakers go from here?

Former Boilermaker guard Chris Kramer joined the show and spoke about what the Boilermakers have in front of them.

“There’s only two ways to go. You’re going to stay on the same track, and you have three more games, one Big Ten Tournament game, and potentially an NCAA Tournament game, and that’s going to be it, or you’re going to find a way to right the ship, come together, find some connectiveness, some cohesiveness, play for that name on the front of the jersey and find a way to get this thing rolling in the right direction, and it’s a collective effort. Everybody’s got to be moving in the right way, in the right direction. Everybody’s got to be on the same page, there’s definitely been discipline, break down issues the past four games, but the good news for Purdue fans is there’s still time to get this thing figured out before March.”
