Center Grove Alumni and UDFA Carson Steele Secures a Spot on the Kansas City Chiefs’ 53-man Roster

In the preseason, the running back/fullback, who began his career at Ball State before transferring to UCLA, gained 87 yards on 11 runs and scored twice.
Steele led the Chiefs with 29 running yards on four touches and a score against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 of preseason. In Week 3, against the Chicago Bears, he gained 50 yards on four attempts and scored again.
Steele spent two seasons at Ball State, where he rushed for 1,556 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore, following a stellar career at Center Grove.
