Barbershops are places where Black people can be vulnerable and talk about important issues in the community. On Saturday, September 14th at 10 am (ET), Fred Yeakey, Chief Partnership Officer at Providence Cristo Rey High School, will moderate an honest and candid conversation with a small group of Black men of varied backgrounds who will address the disproportionate burden Black men face when it comes to cancer prevention, screening, treatment and survival, and offer ways to advance Black men’s health.

This event is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society, Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, End Lung Cancer Now, and the Indiana Cancer Consortium.
