The Quiet Swagger of Josh Downs

As the Colts held their first practice of training camp, a good portion of eyes were locked on the quarterback battle between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones but it would benefit those eyes to wander over to what wide receiver Josh Downs is doing when he’s on the field. The Colts wideout is entering Year 3 and hoping to build off his sophomore season that saw him haul in 72 balls for 803 yards and five touchdowns. It’s another year of uncertainty at the quarterback spot but Downs doesn’t seem to care who throws him the ball as long as he takes advantage of the opportunities when the ball comes his way.
Downs joined the show ahead of the first practice and discussed a multitude of topics. From the wide receiver room, the difference in Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, to his quiet swagger when it comes to the most conditioned of the wideouts to who would win in a best-of-seven between he and Pro Bowl cornerback Kenny Moore II.
