COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 02 Indiana at Michigan State

The sudden rise of the Indiana Hoosiers on the football field has given birth to some truly hysterical takes from the media.

Most of it involves the Hoosiers strength of schedule, and how that will affect their chances at the College Football Playoffs, especially if they lose to Ohio State on Saturday. During ESPN’s College Football Playoff Rankings show, analyst and former Ohio State wide receiver Joey Galloway took things one step further, suggesting that the Hoosiers should consider sitting quarterback Kurtis Rourke against the Buckeyes.

Online reactions to Galloway’s take quickly poured in, with many reflecting the incredulous response Galloway’s fellow analysts had.

Disregarding Galloway’s obvious potential for an Ohio State bias, his suggestion makes no sense and certainly won’t be winning him any popularity contests in Bloomington.

During the Wednesday edition of The Ride With JMV, John spoke to Bob Kravitz from bobkravitz.com about the Hoosiers, the comments made by Galloway, as well as comments made by former coach and current United State Senator Tommy Tuberville.
