ESPN College Gameday Is Headed To Bloomington Indiana

Bloomington, Indiana has found it’s way back into the spotlight and it has to due with football.

ESPN College GameDay has announced it’s next destination will be Memorial Stadium for a matchup on October 26th between #12 Indiana and unranked Washington.

The College Gameday site will be announced in the coming days.

The show will air for three hours from 9 a.m. to noon ET, hosted by Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit and former Indiana head coach Lee Corso.

The actual game which Hoosiers Head Coach, Curt Cignetti, has been very vocal about packing the house for all four quarters, will kick off at noon on Big Ten Network inside a sold-out Memorial Stadium which holds up to 52,000+ people.

Indiana who is 7-0 will enter the weekend with the nation’s third-longest active winning streak and the second-longest winning streak to start a season in program history.

The Indiana football program announced  an injury update on Sunday (Oct. 20) that redshirt senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke will be out for the game due to a thumb injury but is expected to return at some point this season.

Washington who is 4-3 is coming off of a bye and will make its second ever trip to Memorial Stadium and first since 1978.

College gameday past locations this year have been:

  • Week 0 – “College GameDay” visited Dublin, Ireland for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic between Florida State and Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech beat Florida State 24 to 21.
  • Week 1 – “College GameDay” visited College Station, Texas for No. 20 Texas A&M and No. 7 Notre Dame. Notre Dame beat Texas A&M 23 to 13.
  • Week 2 – “College Gameday” visited Ann Arbor, MI for No. 3 Texas vs. No. 10 Michigan. Texas beat Michigan 31 to 12.
  • Week 3 – “College Gameday” visited Columbia, SC for the first time in a decade for LSU vs. South Carolina. LSU beat South Carolina 36 to 33.
  • Week 4 – “College Gameday” visited Norman, OK for Tennessee vs. Oklahoma. Tennessee beat Oklahoma 25-15.
  • Week 5 – “College Gameday” visited Tuscaloosa, AL for Georgia vs. Alabama. Alabama beat Georgia 41-34.
  • Week 6 – “College Gameday” visited Berkeley, CA for Miami vs. Cal. Miami beat Cal 39-38.
  • Week 7 – “College Gameday” visited Eugene, OR for Ohio State vs. Oregon. Oregon beat Ohio State 32-31.
  • Week 8 – “College Gameday” visits Austin, TX for Georgia vs. Texas. Georgia beat Texas 30-15.
