Colts-Steelers Preview + Week 4 NFL Picks

The Indianapolis Colts face a tough test on Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town.
The Steelers feature a ferocious defense, headlined by T.J Watt, that could give the Colts struggling offense tons of fits. Meanwhile, the Steelers offense has been efficient if not exactly spectacular, doing enough with former Bears quarterback Justin Fields under center to start the year 3-0. Through the first three games, Fields has put up a QBR of 47.4, with 518 yards, completing 73.3% of his passes with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
With neither Fields nor Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson lighting up opposing defenses, this could become a low-scoring, grind-it-out type of game. Of course, the Colts defense isn’t nearly as imposing as the Steelers defense, especially with the potential for several Colts defenders being out with injuries (and of course, the continued absence of DeForest Buckner, who remains on IR). They did a good job against the Bears, but that could say more about the Bears offense than the Colts defense. Come Sunday, we’ll get a better idea of which it was.
