Thursday night on Beyond the Bricks with Jake Query and Mike Thomsen, it’s a conversation with racing legend George Follmer.
Jake and Mike talk with Follmer about his range of experiences in the sport of racing, as he competed in a wide range of racing series. He raced the Indianapolis 500 three times, while also spending time behind the wheel in NASCAR, Formula 1, and IROC. He is the only driver in the history of the sport to win the Trans-Am and Can-Am title in the same year.
Also, they spend some time reliving the past just 3 days away from the Brickyard 400 on Sunday. You hear from Donald Davidson on the origins of NASCAR and the historic Brickyard race.
Listen to the Beyond the Bricks podcast below, or wherever you get your podcasts, to hear Jake Query and Mike Thomsen’s dive deep into the sport of racing ahead of one of the more historic races on the calendar!
