Should NFL players get guaranteed money like NBA players?

Mike Chappell joins the Dan Dakich show to talk about Free Agency in the NFL. Chappell and DD talk about the amount of money the NBA free agents are making compared to NFL free agents. Chappell also talks why he thinks NFL players should get more guaranteed money because it is one of the most brutal sports being paid. Chappell also talks about the efforts of restoring the CBA before the 2019 season.
On NFL players getting more money:
“It’s going to be some contentious negotiations and players want more money, and God loves them they deserve more money. In a perfect world for the players you want more guaranteed money because as we’ve seen these contracts by in large go away.”
On restoring CBA:
“I think you ramp of talks, but I just don’t know how your get things done. With so many contentious issues it takes that 12th hour. It normally takes that drop deadline to get something done. With the real threat of missing time, whether it’s a strike or a walkout.”
