1075thefan.com’s Kevin Bowen joins the Ride with JMV to discuss Jeopardy, his view on the approach the Colts will take in addressing the quarterback position in the draft and free agency, and talk a little Pacers basketball with Victor Oladipo’s return being announced today as January 29th against the Chicago Bulls.

Do you think the Colts would want Funchess back more than he would want to return?…

“I don’t think he is coming back because I don’t think Funchess wants to come back to be frank. That’s pretty much where I’m at right now and clearly when he signed here, it was a one year prove it contract with Andrew Luck. Now it’s no Andrew Luck and he’s getting a little bit older, and maybe a prove it deal is all he’s going to get. I don’t know if some team is going to offer him a three year deal for x amount of money.”

Are the Colts going to make suitable changes?…

“They are certainly more equipped. I mean they have resources like no other from ninety-five to ninety-six million dollars in cap space, three draft picks in the top fourty-four. I think them, Jacksonville, and Miami are the only three teams with that draft capital so resources is not a question. The question more comes down to Chris Ballard and his philosophical approach.”
