New Colts safety Camryn Bynum is one of several new faces that will be roaming the defensive secondary when the 2025 season rolls around.

A 4th round pick in 2021, Bynum spent the first four seasons of his career in Minnesota. After spending his first season has a role player, he started every game over the next three seasons for the Vikings, racking up 8 total interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. He also tacked on 217 solo tackles, 342 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks and 5 tackles for loss.

During the Monday edition of The Ride With JMV, Bynum called into the show and spoke about what led him to sign with the Colts.

“I would say talking to Gilly, Stephon Gilmore, he’s one of the guys that I reached out to, just a vet that I respect and am close to. He knows what type of person I am, I know what type of person he is, so the fact that he highly recommended that this is a place that he loved, and a place that I would love too, that carried a lot of weight, and obviously when it comes to the business side of things, the contract [is] just something that can be able to set my family and I up. Really, even beyond that, just seeing everything and just the type of organization that this is, really is why I gravitated towards it and made the decision.”
