If you were sitting on your couch and shocked to see Shane Steichen send the Colts offense on the field for a two-point conversion instead of a game-tying extra point attempt, you weren’t alone.  Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox said he was just as surprised to hear the team was going for two like the fans were.

Normally, when we start drives and we’re going to go for two we say if we score we’re going to go for two but I didn’t hear that.  So, we scored and I start running off the field and I hear we’re going for two and I thought “Oh, snap!” – Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox on when he learned the team was going for the go-ahead two-point conversion

Cox joined the show Monday morning and said his crucial catch on 4th and 3 was not meant to go to him originally but to Michael Pittman Jr. but he found a way to get open and made a great catch to keep what ended up being an 18-play drive alive.  Cox added that Anthony Richardson is finding his rhythm and the Colts are starting to feel themselves heading into the bye week,

With him, you never know when the play is over.  He had great escapability, even when he looks dead to rights.  His playmaking ability is second to none. – Mo Alie-Cox on Anthony Richardson’s skills
