Indiana Pacers Center Myles Turner joined JMV to discuss his time with Team USA and what his role is with the team right now, how the game is a little different because of FIBA rules, why he’s excited for the upcoming Pacers season and some of the new additions as well as what 1st round pick Goga Bitadze brings to the Pacers

“How do you think you’ve played so far in the (Team USA) workouts?”

“I think I’m doing pretty good, one thing about coming out here is that you’re not going to play 30 minutes a game, you’re not going to get 25 shots a game. Everybody has to find their role and thrive in it.”

“What did (Kevin McHale) convey to you about how you can get better with your back to the basket?”

“He told me to just be more aggressive and make the defense react to me was one of the things that he really preached as opposed to just trying to make a move and then read the defense. Just make the defense react to me was one thing I really took away from him.”
