Colts-Lions Preview + NFL Week 12 Picks!

[Indianapolis, IN]- Sunday the Indianapolis Colts face their toughest opponent that is left on the schedule.
The 9-1 Detroit Lions come to Lucas Oil Stadium looking for their tenth win and to advance their undefeated road record to 6-0.
Along with being arguably the best team in the NFL right now, Detroit also bolsters one of the best offenses with a 394 yards per game average. Detroit also has beaten their opponents by 35 points or more three times this season (Cowboys, Jaguars, and Titans). The last time Indianapolis defeated an opponent by that much was in 2009, only the second time in the Peyton Manning era.
What could work in the Colts favor is the resurgence of Anthony Richardson. Prior to his benching after the 23-20 loss in Week 8 against the Texans, Richardson returned with his career best performance against the Jets. He completed 20/30 passes for 272 yards (career best), and had 3 total touchdowns, one passing and two rushing. Indianapolis also has the NFL leading tackler in Zaire Franklin, who has 110 total tackles.
On the defensive side of the football, Indianapolis is allowing 374 yards per game, the fifth worst in the NFL. 231 of those yards come from the passing game. However, the Lions have the sixth worst passing defense in the NFL, allowing 232 yards per game.
To help bolster the offensive line, Indianapolis signed Mark Glowinski to the team’s practice squad.
The Colts and Lions meet at 1:00 PM Eastern on Sunday.
