Colts-Jets Preview + NFL Week 11 Picks!

There’s never a dull moment when you follow the Indianapolis Colts. 

Two weeks after making a monumental quarterback change, going from Anthony Richardson to Joe Flacco, the team is reversing course, and reinserting Richardson back into the lineup ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the New York Jets. So how will Richardson look after two weeks of riding the pine? Honestly, it’s anyone’s guess. He wasn’t exactly lighting the league on fire earlier in the season, but he’s far more mobile than Flacco and should give the Colts another threat in the run game, provided they actually try and use his legs as a weapon.  

The Colts opponent, the New York Jets, are also in the middle of a rocky season. Aaron Rodgers is playing like a 40-year-old on his last legs, and even the addition of Davante Adams has not fixed their issues. The Jets are fresh off a 31-6 beatdown at the hands of the Cardinals, and it feels like things are circling the drain for them. That said, even a reduced version of Aaron Rodgers can still be dangerous, especially against a Colts defense that is 16th in points allowed and 29th in yards. Even if Richardson comes back and plays lights out, it could still be a tough matchup for the Horseshoe.
