[Houston, TX]- The Indianapolis Colts meet the Houston Texans for the second and final game of the regular season on Sunday.
The Texans topped the Colts 29-27 in Week One of the season.
Indy is one game back from the Texans after Houston’s 24-22 loss to Green Bay last Sunday.
In that game, reigning Rookie to the Year C.J. Stroud was held to just 86 yards passing. ESPN Texans reporter DJ Bie-Enemy joined the Wake Up Call with KB and Andy to discuss if more offensive struggles could be coming against the Colts this Sunday.
“Not necessarily,” Bie-Enemy said, “Mainly because C.J. (Stroud) has always had success against the Colts.”
In the Week One matchup, Stroud threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns on Indy’s defense. He also completed 24 of his 32 attempts.
In 2023, Stroud threw for 384 yards and two touchdowns in the Week two loss to Indy. In the season finale in 2023, he again threw two touchdowns and 264 yards.

The biggest struggle for the Texans lately has been the offensive line play. Stroud has already taken 20 sacks this season. He had 38 all season last year.
“No shade to Gus Bradley,” Bie-Enemy said, “He’s a good (Defensive Coordinator), but his scheme and his game he runs I don’t think will give the same troubles to the Texans offensive that will disrupt C.J.”
Using Pro Football Networks Playoff predictor, even with a win Sunday, the Colts would tie the Texans for the top spot in the AFC South. Both Teams would have a 5-3 record. However, a win would make the AFC South a battle through the rest of the season.
The Colts and Texans meet Sunday at 1:00 PM in Houston.
