Former Colt Friday: Anthony Castonzo

In 2011, the Indianapolis Colts selected a 6’7” 307-pound offensive tackle out of Boston College.
You often hope that a first-round offensive lineman turns into a Pro Bowler, All-Pro, Ring of Honor, or Hall of Fame type of player. Castonzo was never recognized for his availability and play on the national level despite his production.
Castonzo spent his entire ten-year career with the Indianapolis Colts. The former Boston College Eagle started in every single one of the 144 games he played in. He did miss some time, but never missed extended time during a season. The fewest number of games he played came in his rookie season and final season when he played a dozen games.
He joined Query & Company on Friday with Jake Query & Jimmy Cook as this week’s “Former Colt Friday” guest to discuss:
- His career and what he has seen from the Colts this season
- Breaks down what he has seen from the Colts offensive line
- Shares what kind of hobbies he has taken up since retiring after the 2020 season
- Relives a night that he spent with Jake Query
- States that he still would have retired after the 2020 season even if Andrew Luck was still quarterbacking the Colts.
