INDIANAPOLIS Phew, see you Sunday.

After their first COVID scare of the 2020 season on Friday morning, the Colts have learned that the four positive tests originally announced have been confirmed as negative.

And, with that, the Colts will re-open their facility Friday afternoon and continue preparation for Sunday’s matchup with the Bengals.

Here was the statement the Colts released late on Friday morning updating the information:

Earlier this morning, we were informed that four individuals within the organization tested positive for COVID-19. The four positive samples were re-tested and have been confirmed negative. After consultation with the NFL and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Allen Sills, the team will open the practice facility this afternoon under the league’s intensive protocol and will continue preparation for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati.

The Colts had previously cancelled Friday’s practice and were planning to have a virtual day of meetings.

That has now changed as they conclude their on-field prep for the Week 6 matchups with the Bengals.

Frank Reich will meet the media around 3:15 following the Colts’ final practice of the week.
