Colts wide receiver Deon Cain joins the show to talk about Colts training camp. Deon Cain goes into how he feels about training camp so far and the level of play coming out of the Colts. Jeff and Big Joe ask Deon why he feels responsible for hurting his ACL last season and the factor that injury is playing in this training camp. Deon Cain highlights the fact that the most important thing for him is consistency.

“How do you know when you’re back?”

“Actually when I got out here and started making plays and running around flying feeling good. That’s when I was like alright man, I’m officially back. I’m out here doing the same things I was doing but ten times more. My body feels way better than what it was last year. I just feel like I’m in a good spot right now.”

“Somebody quoted you in a story that said you blamed yourself for the ACL injury. Is that true?”

“I think we had just a simple stock route or something like that. I really just think the more I watched it that I was just too high in my stance. I was putting a lot of pressure on my knees and not really technically sound of being nose over toes type thing. Make sure all of my weight is balanced between both of my knees and not just putting all of the pressure on my left one. I kind of felt like I was a little bit off on that and that is what probably caused it because I did that a lot. I’ve been seeing that a lot on the field recently, where I just wasn’t too technical on my routes. I kind of feel like that gave me that little push to push off of that.”
