Mike Wells joins the show today to talk to Kevin Bowen about the Colts’ preseason. Kevin Bowen asks Mike how long Andrew Luck can sit out before Colts’ fans should start to worry that their quarterback might not be one hundred percent for the regular season. Mike Wells talks about how he feels that Andrew Luck shouldn’t play in any of the preseason games at all and just come back for the first regular season game.

“When is the date that Andrew Luck is still not practicing where Colts’ fans should be extremely concerned?”

“I think people should be concerned if he is not doing individual drills starting on Saturday. That will basically make it almost two weeks since they shut him down. Individual drills on Saturday when they return to practice after this Buffalo game. I don’t expect him to do anything team wise in the joint practice against Cleveland. Let’s be real, I know you don’t hit the quarterback but you never know when an O lineman is going to block a defensive man into your quarterback. You don’t want him having to jump around. I think he should be able to take part full-fledged in team drills going into the third preseason game. With that said if I’m a Colts’ fan, if I’m anyone in the Colts’ organization, I am not letting Andrew Luck play one snap of the preseason. You will see him play his first game week one against the Chargers. I’m not worried about the preseason.”
