Indianapolis – For the 2021 season, the Colts had arguably the worst group of pass catchers in the NFL. The Colts and the Washington Football Team were the only 2 teams in the NFL to have only one offensive weapon record more than 400 yards receiving.
Leading up to the draft 107.5 & 93.5 The Fan afternoon host JMV had harped on Colts GM Chris Ballard to upgrade the WR and TE room to help out Jonathan Taylor and Matt Ryan even out the running and passing attack. After staying out of the WR free agency market that left the NFL Draft.
The week before the Draft JMV pleaded with Chris Ballard to grab a top WR with the Colts 2nd round pick and a TE with their 3rd round pick. After the Colts selection at #53 of Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce, this is all JMV had to say:
F in A!

“Let the party begin!”
— Indianapolis Colts (@Colts) April 30, 2022
When his show started on Monday, JMV couldn’t help but be elated at the Colts 2022 Draft, calling it the most “universally accepted” Colts draft that he can remember in recent history. To listen to JMV’s full thoughts on the draft and the dynamic both WR Alec Pierce and TE Jelani Woods can add to the Colts offense, listen to the podcast below or listen live from 3-6 ET to 107.5 The Fan!
