During the preseason, everything revolved around No. 2 in blue for the Indianapolis Colts. The season was going to live and die with Carson Wentz. Everything the first-year Colts quarterback has done since September is under scrutiny and Saturday was no exception.
On Monday’s Ride with JMV, Wentz was a hot topic and John spelled at very clearly how he feels about the performance of the man under center in Indianapolis:
“He has been exactly what they were looking for. He has made it OK to trade a first round pick for him. Nothing else.”
Whether you like Wentz or not, he has helped put the Colts in a position to make the playoffs even after an 0-3 start. He has thrown for 3,200 yards, 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
