Kyle Kaiser joins the Morning Show to talk with the guys about his qualifying time and racing in his first Indy 500 race this weekend, and his strategy for qualifying.
On skipping the practice and going for it all on the qualifying round :
” That was probably the most important call that the team made. We made that decision the night before, just knowing that we didn’t have the speed on Saturday. So they decided they were going to spend the whole morning no matter how much time we had, just sanding the car.”
On how this week has been :
It’s been an absoulute explosion obviously. Just the attention and the way the story has played out. I think it can’t go understated. The way it worked out with us going last having Alonso be on the bubble, Ithnk it just made it so much more dramatic.”
