On Growing up:

“I’ll take you all the way back to second grade. He was always bigger, faster, stronger than the kids his age, so he always played up. He played football with the third and fourth graders as a second grader and really excelled. In seventh grade he participated in  FBU which is Football University Camp. He was selcted to represent Indiana in the All-Star game. He was selected by his teammates as captain for the defense.”

On this challenge:

“Through his senior year and heading into freshman year of college he started having speech problems. Rapid talking, stuttering, mumbling and we couldn’t read his hand writing anymore. With him being an art major and that talent with his hands was definitely taking a toll.”
