NBA Front Office Insider Bobby Marks On Myles Turner’s Departure

It will be a new reality for the Indiana Pacers and their fans next season when, for the first time in a decade, Myles Turner will not be a member of the team.
The news that Turner was leaving the Pacers to sign with their rivals, the Milwaukee Bucks, on a 4-year deal worth $107 million was a shocking turn of events. Before the NBA Finals it would have been ridiculous to think that Indy wouldn’t try and run it back with this group; even after Haliburton’s injury, most assumed Turner would be a safe bet to return. It will be fascinating to find out what exactly led to this divorce; did the Pacers lowball Turner? Did they team get outplayed by Milwaukee? Or did they decide to let him walk in the wake of the Haliburton injury?
We might not get the definitive answers to those questions for a while; however, during the Wednesday edition of The Ride With JMV, ESPN NBA Front Office Insider Bobby Marks joined the show, and tried to shed some light on what exactly happened between Turner and the Pacers. Listen to that conversation and more down below, and tune into The Ride With JMV weekdays from 3-6pm on 93.5/107.5 The Fan!
