Colts corner Rock Ya-Sin joins The Dan Dakich Show to discuss his time at the Colts’ training camp. Rock talks about how he has been feeling at practice especially going up against Devin Funchess. Dan asks Rock about the difference between college football and the NFL. Rock also talks about the fun he has been having and how he has always looked forward to training camp, even in college.

“How do you think you have done to this point?”

“I feel like I’ve done pretty well. I feel like I’ve competed well. I’m taking it all in stride, you know, going out and competing no matter who is put in front of me. Just going out there and competing. Giving one hundred percent effort and working on techniques that I am being taught by coach J.G. and whoever and just continuing to get better every day. Just trying to pack on a day after a day after a day until I get better. Make sure I’m going forward and progressing every day to get better, not taking any steps backwards.”

“Has this been fun for you? If so, what is the most fun part about training camp?”

“It’s extremely fun for me. Camp is always fun to me. Even in college because you are taking all of the distractions away. In college school wasn’t a distraction but school is school. You were a student athlete. During camp you’re just an athlete really. You’re not taking any classes. You’re not doing any school work. You know you’re away from everybody. It’s secluded. It’s just you and your teammates bonding. You know what I’m saying, getting better together. It’s the best feeling.”
