Cadillac F1 to Build Formula 1 Cars at Fishers Headquarters

Cadillac F1 has announced that its new state-of-the-art facility in Fishers, Indiana, will serve as the team’s primary headquarters for car manufacturing.

This 400,000-square-foot facility, originally planned for Andretti Global’s IndyCar and other racing operations, will now focus exclusively on Cadillac’s Formula 1 operations as the team gears up for its debut on the F1 grid in 2026.

The Fishers race shop will handle the majority of Cadillac F1’s car production, underlining the team’s commitment to being a fully American operation.

“Make no mistake. This is an American team that will race under the American flag,” said team principal Graeme Lowdon.

The facility will also host administrative operations, manufacturing, and commercial activities, making it a hub of cutting-edge motorsport innovation.

Cadillac F1, a project born from the Andretti family’s collaboration with General Motors, plans to use its Fishers base to showcase technological excellence while strengthening its ties to the U.S.

The facility is expected to bring highly skilled jobs and international attention to the local community, drawing global media and fans from the world’s biggest motorsport series.

While the team will develop parts at its secondary facility in Silverstone, U.K., and test designs using Toyota’s wind tunnel in Germany, the Fishers headquarters solidifies Cadillac F1’s American roots.

TWG Motorsports, Cadillac’s partner, has emphasized their commitment to building cars and engines in the United States to reflect the team’s identity on the world stage.

The project has also drawn interest for its environmental considerations.

During discussions with the Fishers City Council, Cadillac F1 representatives highlighted Formula 1’s strict environmental protocols, ensuring the facility will meet high sustainability standards.

With construction well underway, the Fishers headquarters is set to become a pivotal element of Cadillac F1’s entry into Formula 1, marking a bold move to elevate American motorsport in one of the most prestigious and competitive racing series in the world.
