BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—The 19th ranked Illinois Fighting Illini led by as many as 31 points and dominated the Indiana Hoosiers at Assembly Hall 94-69.

Illinois took their first lead of the game at 7-6 and then pushed the lead to 28 at halftime (60-32). Indiana went on a 10-0 run to start the second half, but Illinois responded and eventually made the lead 31 in the second half.

Illinois outrebounded Indiana 51-37, outscored Indiana on second chance points 19-6, and made 11 three-point shots.

Indiana was 4-18 from three-point range. They didn’t make a three in the first half.

Kylan Boswell scored 22 points for Illinois to lead all scorers. Indiana was led in scoring by Oumar Ballo (16 points and 15 rebounds).

Indiana has lost two in a row. They are 4-3 in the Big Ten and 13-5 overall. They play Ohio State Friday night at 8 pm. Pregame coverage starts at 7 pm on 93.1 WIBC.

Illinois improves to 13-4 and 5-2 in the Big Ten. They play 12th ranked Michigan State on Sunday at 12 pm.
