Following his breakout 253 rush yard performance in Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jonathan Taylor is gearing to go for his first NFL playoff experience in Buffalo on Saturday.

The Blue and White have their big concerns heading into Saturday with the Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs combo. But are enough people talking about if Taylor gets hot again and how the Bills will respond?

Buffalo’s defense is top tier. But they don’t have to deal with many guys like the former Badger.

There was a bit of concern today because Taylor was limited in practice per the Colts Twitter page. But in his appearance later on The Dan Dakich Show, he told DD that he isn’t planning on missing out on the fun.

“Any time late in the season where you get 30 carries you’re bound to come out with some bruises,” Taylor said. “If you don’t, blessings to the man upstairs. We’re definitely ready to roll and be able to go up to Buffalo and compete for a win.”

Another bright side of last week’s monstrous game was that Taylor got experience running behind a new left tackle. Jared Veldheer played in his first game with Indianapolis after being signed earlier last week. He’s expected to suit up again on Saturday afternoon. And now Taylor knows how to work with him.

“You can definitely get hot as a running back but it’s more so that you feel and understand how the linebackers are playing,” Taylor added. “I think that once you’re able to get into the defense’s head and start to make their moves for them, that’s when you get hot.”

Taylor is so mature. It’s hard to believe that this will be his playoff debut. Unlike other rookies, he seems to be setting himself up for quick postseason success.

Take this one over and go get a win JT.
