Director of personnel for the Pacers Ryan Carr joins The Ride with JMV and discusses new prospects for the Pacers as well as sizing up new prospects for next years NBA season. Ryan Carr gives his take on whether or not Gonzaga basketball player Rui Hachimura will join the Pacers for next years season. Ryan Carr also discusses who he would like to see play for the Pacers next year and his hopes for the NBA draft.

“Is there any way that our guy from Gonzaga will be there at 18?”

“That’s a real surprise because we know that you would like us to be Gonzaga east, they have produced some pretty good players. Rui is such a good player. We sit here and go over this, we have a hard time thinking that he will be there when we draft that’s for sure.”

“How far down the list do you believe you know where these guys are going?”

I think we feel pretty good that we know thirteen guys that will be gone for sure. You may not be able to pin it, you know, one through thirteen, but you know sometime in the first seventeen picks we feel that thirteen guys are gone. That gives us about five picks to figure out and come up with a good plan of action.”
