I said earlier today on The Wake Up Call that a growing pet peeve (despite understanding the content machine, website clicks etc) is the “Way Too Early Top 25’s” you see being posted as the college hoops has come to an end. Again, I understand the new for content but at this point in the […]

After two NCAA Tournament appearances, and graduating four starters, it was a down season for Mike Woodson and the Indiana Hoosiers. It led to fans booing the team off the floor on occasions and fans wanting Woodson fired.

The Indiana Hoosiers saw their season come to a painful end in the Big Ten Tournament, where they were blown out by Nebraska 93-66 in the quarterfinals.  The loss ensured that the Hoosiers would not make the NCAA Tournament, something that had been predicted for a while now. It was a tumultuous season for the […]

Embattled Indiana Hoosiers head coach Mike Woodson will return to the team for the 2024-25 season, Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star reported on Wednesday.  The news wasn’t a complete shock; despite the struggles the Hoosiers have gone through, Woodson’s return always seemed likely. Had Indiana fired Woodson, he would have been owed around $12.6 […]

The Indiana Hoosiers have only a few games remaining in what has been a tough season.   The team is on a 4-game losing streak, including Saturday’s 83-74 loss to Penn State, and has only won 2 out of the last 10 games. With a record of 14-13, really the only thing left for the […]

For the vast majority of this season, the Purdue Boilermakers have been the most dominant, consistent, and reliable team in college basketball. It has not been a fun season to be an Indiana Hoosier basketball fan. Nearly losing a non-conference game to Morehead State at home, guard play has been putrid, and have lost seven of their last nine games.

It’s been a downright awful season for the Indiana Hoosiers.  On Wednesday night, we finally saw rock bottom.  The Hoosiers were dominated at home 85-70 by a Nebraska Cornhuskers squad that earned it’s first road win in conference play this season.  Boos rained down from the Assembly Hall crowd, those that still stayed that is.  […]

It has been an inconsistent, up and down, and frustrating season for Indiana basketball. After going 23-12 last year, making the Round of 32, and seemingly making a step towards national relevance, this season has been the total opposite.

During Tuesday’s edition of The Ride With JMV, former Indiana Hoosier and Indiana Mr. Basketball Trayce Jackson-Davis joined the show ahead of his return to Indiana in Thursday’s showdown between the Pacers and the team he plays for now, the Golden State Warriors.  Trayce spoke about the growing discontent surrounding the job being done by his […]

The Indiana Hoosiers suffered yet another humiliating defeat in what has been a difficult season, falling to Penn State 85-71 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington on Saturday.  The loss has renewed calls for Indiana to part ways with head coach Mike Woodson. Hoosier fans on X were not shy about voicing their frustrations over the […]
