Reggie Wayne doesn’t do a lot of interviews these days but when he does he’s as entertaining, engaging and informative as you could ask for from a guest.  The Colts legend and current wide receivers coach for Shane Steichen’s staff joined us on Wednesday’s show for an outstanding conversation to discuss why even as a coach he hates training camp, why he returned to the staff after a tumultuous 2022 campaign and a regime change, trying to coach players who may not have the same skillset and understanding that he does as well as guys currently on the team that possess attributes he wishes he had.

I owe it to these players.  That wasn’t the Colts standard last year.  Not with myself, the outcome of the season.  That’s not the way I wanted to go out. – Reggie Wayne on why he decided to return to coaching this season

Wayne also discussed the Colts bringing in Anthony Richardson and what it was like to have a young QB in training camp like Andrew Luck.  He also weighed in on the lighter form of training camp than what he had back in his playing days, the whereabouts of his famous orange gloves and the mystery surrounding his middle name.

It was one of the best interviews we’ve done as a show and if you missed it, click the link below to hear it in it’s entirety!
