During the offseason, the new fan favorite in Indianapolis was DE Yannick Ngakoue. On his 4th team in his short career, Ngakoue was ready to find a permanent NFL home. Propped up as the best pass rusher on the Colts since Robert Mathis, fans were excited to see Ngakoue and his 55.5 sacks provide pressure on opposing QBs. So how many sacks does Ngakoue have through 2 weeks of the season? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

TY Hilton was famously known as the “Ghost” amongst fans and it looks like any hope that Hilton would return to the Colts this season was put to bed once this sign was put up on the side of Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts fell to 0-1-1 after an embarrassing shutout loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, a performance just as bad if not worse as the one that ended their season back in January. 107.5 The Fan afternoon host JMV opened up his show on Monday expressing a lot of the anger and frustration Colts fans have felt over the opening two weeks.

“Oh in the offseason I was so excited about this defense. Here come Yannick Ngakoue, the first consistent edge rushing threat since Robert Mathis. That guy couldn’t hold Robert Mathis’s helmet right now. Honestly. Not even close. Not in these first two games… TY Hilton’s not the ghost anymore. Ngakoue is the ghost now.”

You have to hear JMV’s opening segment where he talks about Frank Reich, Chris Ballard neglecting to bolster the LT and WR, lack of QB pressure, and more!
