The Colts head down to Jacksonville looking to exercise some demons that have haunted this team since 2014.  After last seasons embarrassing finish, every member of the Colts that has appeared on “The Ride with JMV” on 107.5 The Fan has mentioned that they took some extra motivation into the offseason because of how their season ended.

Colts LB Shaquille Leonard is rehabbing from offseason back surgery and his status for Sunday’s game is still in question. However, Leonard spoke to the media on Thursday and offered some interesting comments about the Colts upcoming matchup vs the Jags:

“In my mind, it’s just another game. All you hear is about Jacksonville last year. It’s like talking about your ex-girlfriend when you’re with somebody new. You gotta learn from your ex, make your life better, and just continue to get better from there. We’re not focusing on that. We’re just stacking the days up and want to continue to get better in practice, then hit the game ready to rock and roll and hopefully come back here with a dub.”

107.5 The Fan host JMV saw Leonard’s quote and well, to put it frankly, didn’t like it. JMV was joined by CBS4/Fox59 Colts Beat Writer Mike Chappell to talk about Leonard’s comments, why they can’t believe the Colts aren’t putting a greater emphasis on this divisional game, and the fanbase reaction if the Colts lose in Jacksonville, dropping them to 0-1-1 on the season.
