The arrival of Gus Bradley from Las Vegas to be the next defensive coordinator sometimes gets lost in an offseason that saw the Colts upgrade the most important position in the game by acquiring Matt Ryan.

Make no mistake about it, however, the Colts hopes of ending their AFC South title drought lies just as much in the defense closing games in 2022.

Enter Bradley, the original playcaller for Seattle’s Legion of Boom and a man with 16 years of coaching experience in the NFL. Most recently he helped guide the Raiders defense to a playoff spot last year, which included a critical win over the Colts.

As he enters his first season in Indy, he finds himself with a few former players that followed him to the Colts including Thursday’s guest on The Dan Dakich Show cornerback Brandon Facyson.

Facyson shared with Dan what he likes about Coach Bradley and why he wanted to follow him here to Indianapolis.

During the chat Facyson also talked about:

  • What Colts fans can expect from a Gus Bradley defensive
  •  how trust is formed between players and coordinators
  • where he feels the defense will excel in 2022
  • what a day is like for a player during training camp
  • how his day doesn’t stop when the helmet comes off

Check out the full conversation with Brandon Facyson below and keep listening to The Dan Dakich Show, weekdays 12-3pm Eastern, on 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan.
