After getting knocked out of the 2021 NCAA Tournament by North Texas, but returning basically every key contributor from that team, expectations were sky high for Purdue this year.

Heading into this year’s Big Dance, it’s hard not to argue the Boilermakers are well behind on those expectations.

Thankfully, when March Madness begins the season resets and gives everybody opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.

For the Purdue Boilermakers that reset means the hopes of winning a National Title begin anew, starting with a Round of 64 date with the Yale Bulldogs.

Thursday on The Dan Dakich Show we turned to the Voice of the Boilermakers Rob Blackman who gave us an in-depth preview of Purdue-Yale.

Plus, Rob evaluated where those Purdue expectations were to start the season and shared what needs to happen in the NCAA Tournament for this Boilermakers’ season to be deemed a success.

Give Dan’s chat with Rob Blackmon a listen below and don’t miss The Dan Dakich Show, weekdays 12-3pm Eastern, on The Fan.
