We are in the endgame now. Just 4 and 3 games respectively remain on the schedule for the Indiana Hoosiers and the Purdue Boilermakers with both teams still chasing certain objectives.

For the Hoosiers, it’s a simple goal of making the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 6 years. They are currently still projected as an NCAA Tournament team but an active 5 game losing streak has put that goal in jeopardy.

Meanwhile the Boilermakers are basically living on another planet compared to IU with victories in 9 of their last 10 games. While expectations are at an all-time high for Purdue, the first step in making a run at a Final Four starts with trying to obtain a top seed in the Big Dance.

So that we can get a clearer picture for what IU has to do to get in and what Purdue needs to earn a #1 seed, The Dan Dakich Show turned to the original bracketologist Joe Lunardi aka Joey Brackets of ESPN.

Joe took us on a deep dive into the goals of both the Hoosiers and the Boilermakers and his answers for how they achieve them may surprise you.
