Great games are on the slate every night and the field to win a National Championship is as wide open as I can remember. Just look at the AP Top 25. Sure there are some familiar faces, but a number of the schools in that ranking list can have their chances at winning it all argued both positively and negatively.
POLL ALERT: Gonzaga returns to No. 1 in the AP Top 25, followed by Auburn, Arizona; Providence cracks top 10; Wyoming in at No. 22.

The bottom line is there isn’t a clear cut favorite like previous years which makes this push towards the Big Dance all the more exciting.
So who should you focus on in these final weeks and which conference can be considered the best in college hoops?
For the answer to that question, and further break downs on National Championship contenders, we turn to the amazing Fran Fraschilla of ESPN. Fran joined The Dan Dakich Show on Tuesday to share how he evaluates contenders and if he feels there is truly a “best conference” this season.
Fran also talked with Dan on where he thought the Purdue Boilermakers would go to start the season and if he feels they can still win it all.
